Positive half-year results: TA Triumph-Adler achieves its targets

Nuremberg, 02.01.2023 | TA Triumph-Adler GmbH closes the first half of the year to September 30, 2022 with revenue of EUR 136 million. This means that the targets set were achieved and the previous year's level of total sales was maintained. The bottom line is once again a profit.

Despite difficult conditions, TA Triumph-Adler closes the past half-year of the 2023 financial year (April 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022) with a positive result. While raw material shortages, disrupted supply chains and increased delivery costs continue to affect the global economy, TA Triumph-Adler is benefiting from its sales strength and its dual sales structure.

TA Triumph-Adler's direct sales achieved slight sales growth compared to the previous year. Indirect sales via the UTAX Group also had a strong first half-year and clearly exceeded its targets. The newer areas of production printing and ECM & ICT once again impressed with a strong order intake.

The continued positive development of the subsidiaries in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the UK is also encouraging. The work of the UK subsidiary was even recognized in a special way: in December, UTAX UK won the local industry award PrintIT Award 2022 in the "A3 Printer/MFP Vendor of the Year" category.

Managing Director Christopher Rheidt thus draws a positive conclusion on the half-year results: "Against the backdrop of the global situation and the resulting challenges, we have achieved a remarkably good result. The measures we took in good time are having an impact and are strengthening our core business, while we continue to successfully expand our digital solutions business in the ECM & ICT area.

The task now is to build on this. Rheidt is cautiously optimistic about the second half of the year: "The situation remains volatile overall. We are therefore continuing to fly by sight and act flexibly. In view of the external circumstances, it is still difficult to make serious forecasts, but we are optimistic because the availability of goods is improving significantly. This is another reason why we are looking to the second half of the year with confidence and expect a good result for the year as a whole.
