- Turnover growth of 2.3 percent in the first half-year
- Positive development of the most important key figures
- Innovation initiative pays off
Nuremberg, 15.11.2018. TA Triumph-Adler GmbH remains on a growth path and once again closes the first half of the 2019 financial year with a significant increase compared to the previous year. The company achieved total revenue of €144.1 million and growth of over two per cent as at 30 September 2018. This means that the specialist for the document business is successfully holding its own in the highly competitive market.
For the fifth time in a row, TA Triumph-Adler succeeded in generating a half-year result with a year-on-year increase in revenue. Profit also increased. In the German market, the company developed stably, despite a difficult environment in the project business. This applies to both the direct channel under the TA Triumph-Adler brand and the indirect channel under the UTAX brand. In the export business, the upward trend of recent months continued unabated and the markets in Southern Europe in particular recovered significantly. The subsidiaries also achieved good results, particularly TA Triumph-Adler Schweiz AG.
This positive trend is also reflected in the most important key figures: TA Triumph-Adler recorded a significant increase in service revenue and in the number of printing and copying systems installed at customer sites. In addition, the company was able to increase the committed volume and maintain the average click price.
The business with colour printing systems continues to be one of the growth factors. TA Triumph-Adler was again able to expand its market share in the field of A3 colour multifunctional (MFP) devices. The company's innovation initiatives are also paying off. In recent years, TA Triumph-Adler has strategically enriched its core business with innovative solutions and services and made it future-proof. This includes the expansion of the DMS/ECM division, which TA Triumph-Adler is driving forward together with its sister company Ceyoniq Technology GmbH, as well as the unique offering relating to IT security topics in cooperation with Bundesdruckerei. Both business areas recorded significant growth in the first half of the 2019 financial year. Among other things, relevant major customers from the healthcare sector now rely on the new security solutions from TA Triumph-Adler. The company is currently looking for new employees in the ECM area to continue its successful expansion.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the financial year, Christopher Rheidt, Managing Director of TA Triumph-Adler GmbH, is optimistic: "We have also set ourselves ambitious goals for the second half of the year and want to confirm our growth course. We are not only seeing a recovery in the project business, but have also struck the right chord with customers with our new solutions. When expanding the portfolio, we make a point of ensuring that it is oriented towards the needs of our customers and offers them concrete added value. This is our highest priority. We appreciate that our customers honour this path, place their trust in us and work with us to implement innovative solutions and services.
TA Triumph-Adler will continue to focus on innovation in its strategy. As part of the "TA Zukunftsfabrik" ideas and cooperation network, the company is continuously looking for innovative partners to provide new impetus for business development.
